I’m Marjet Praasterink and this year I have the honor of fulfilling the roles of Chair and Strategic Manager at UniPartners Netherlands. Before I begin my master’s in Business Communication and Digital Media at Tilburg University, I wanted to broaden my network and further develop myself. A board year at UniPartners Netherlands fits perfectly with that goal.

As Chair, I’m at the head of UniPartners and bear final responsibility for the functioning of the entire UniPartners network. In practice, I share this responsibility with my fellow board members and mainly focus on leading meetings and discussions, overseeing the network’s policy, and ensuring communication from our board to the network.

As Strategic Manager, I’ll be working this year on long-term policy, vision, and the internal structure of the UniPartners network.

My name is Fenna, and this upcoming year I will fulfill the roles of Account and Event Manager at UniPartners Netherlands. Over the past year, I’ve mostly completed my bachelor’s in Psychology and Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology, and so I was looking for a meaningful way to spend my year. I wanted something that would allow me to grow alongside my studies, and a board year at UniPartners Netherlands was the perfect fit.

As Account Manager, I have a lot of contact with companies and am responsible for all sales within the UniPartners network. This gives me the opportunity to explore different companies and get a good sense of various corporate cultures. Additionally, as Event Manager, I learn how to organize large-scale events, such as training weekends for all UniPartners board members.

My name is Yannick Leroy, and I’m currently in the fifth year of my bachelor’s in Data Science. Since my studies are a bit less intense this year, I wanted to do something extra to make good use of my time and strengthen my CV. Coincidentally, I got a message from a friend suggesting I get involved with UniPartners, and it turned out to be perfect timing.

I now fulfill the roles of Quality Manager, Legal Manager, IT Manager, and Vice-Chair at UniPartners.

As Quality Manager, I lead the meetings with other quality managers and am responsible for the professionalization and image of UniPartners. I also deal with legal matters, such as drafting and reviewing contracts. In my role as IT Manager, I look for opportunities to optimize our IT systems and provide support with IT-related issues for my fellow board members.

As Vice-Chair, I take part in chair meetings and am responsible for organizing the rounds of visits to local branches and managing the general email inbox.

Hi, I’m Isabelle, and this year I’m the Financial and International Manager of UniPartners Netherlands. In addition to my board year, I also study Industrial Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology.

As Financial Manager, I manage the financial administration of UniPartners Netherlands. I’m also responsible for making large purchases for the entire UniPartners network. As International Manager, I represent the Netherlands at the four conferences and general assemblies of JE Europe, a European network we’re part of.

Hi! I’m Zoë Lofvers, and this year I’m the Marketing & Sustainability Manager of UniPartners Netherlands. After completing the pre-master in Marketing Analytics at Tilburg University, it was time for something different. That’s why I decided to spend half a year with UniPartners Netherlands.

As Marketing Manager, I’m responsible for the brand awareness of UniPartners as a network and I lead the marketing meetings. Additionally, as Sustainability Manager, I’m responsible for sustainability initiatives within the network and UniPartners Netherlands itself.
