The company ‘Foeth’ is active in the purchase and sale of used process machinery. Process machines and process systems of A-brand manufacturers are purchased, cleaned, tested and, if necessary, overhauled. Foeth does this in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, plastics and packaging process industries. As a plan for the future, A. Foeth B.V. is looking for foreign expansion through acquisitions in Europe.

Project description

The goal of the project is to get an overview of potential acquisition candidates in Europe. As a student consultant you will conduct (online) market research on companies that are in the same market as Foeth. Potential companies will be tested against predetermined criteria and assessed on their potential. As a student consultant you will report this in an overview or document.

We are looking for students from Russia, Poland and France. You will carry out the research independently for your own country. This will take approximately 3 weeks.

Student requirements

Are you an ambitious SBE Bachelor or Master student who:

• Speaks and understands the language Russian, French ór Polish?
• Is able to read and understand financial statements?
• Is willing to delve into international markets and look for companies in a structured way?
• Has an analytical way of thinking?
• Is able to work independently?
